I am a historian of early America, particularly the politics and culture of the long eighteenth century. My current research focuses on the relationship between historical memory and politics in the American Revolution. I received my PhD in History from Yale University in 2017. For the 2018-19 academic year, I am serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Knox College. I have received fellowships from the New-York Historical Society, American Philosophical Society, Massachusetts Historical Society, Library Company of Philadelphia, Historical Society of Pennsylvania, and the Omohundro Institute of Early American and History and Culture.
